July 7th update 53# Yellowtail

Shawn Bowman lands a 53# yellowtail while out fishing for the elusive WSB off Pacific Beach Saturday Morning. Shawn 16 years of age was out fishing with his dad Guy and friend Ronson on REEL HARD. While the old farts were catching some zzzzzzzzzz' Sat. about 6:15 am Shawn pins on a live squid to 25# test and tosses it off the stern. 15 minutes later he has not only landed this beast but was able to awaken the crew so he didn't have to take care of the catching and gaffing by himself. Great job Shawn!
